I figured that if an organic nervous system could be connected to a machine, then logically, a machine can be an interface between two organic nervous systems. This way, brains could be transplanted into an organic host body, rather than a robotic one. This illustration shows the emperor of an evil faction in my book: Emperor Riveso of Kurion, who has essentially hijacked a dragon's body and made it his own.
